Where Can We Listen Live Big Band Jazz Music?
Jazz--A musical art form was originated in the African American communities in early 20th century. It is one of the most tantalizing and distinguished forms of music and has a unique American flair to it. It embraces all other forms like rock, hip-hop. But the irony is it has now become less popular than the latter ones. The big band- also known as the jazz band, jazz ensemble, dance band, stage orchestra is an ensemble associated with playing the Jazz music. The typical instruments used are Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano, Guitar etc.
Jazz is one of the most significant contributions to the music world. Still there are many people who value its worth and love listening to it. No matter how old it grows, this is something which is agile and will always persist in the hearts of its admirers. One reason that jazz remains popular and alive is its ability to adapt to the world it lives in and yet being able to maintain its originality and touch.
There are a host of options available for the Jazz music lovers. In Chicago, you can hear some great musicians playing Jazz on nearly every street corner. Kansas City, Boston and New Orleans have great Jazz clubs where there are splendid performances of the original big band Jazz music the magic of the renowned artists is recreated. The idea is to go back to the period to feel and relive that pleasant light and easy music. They are like a holy spot for those who are passionate about this music.
For the music lovers who do not want to leave their homes want to find an economical way to live their favorite Jazz music, here is a shortcut- The Radio. Tune into some great Jazz radio stations. It may not be as mesmerizing and scintillating as hearing them live in person but close your eyes, flow with the music and imagine yourself with your favorite artists at a concert. That is the best way to enjoy it and pretty reasonable too.

easy jazz piano?
I'm trying to learn jazz by ear but I'm finding it really difficult. I am awesome at transcribing the melody or solo lines. But whe it comes to the bass or chords I really struggle to pick any notes at all. What are some good piano based jazz albums which might be a little easier for me to transcribe by ear?
A number of "play along" recordings (see below) are available that are a lot of fun and are great way to learn easy jazz songs. You can listen and emulate the piano part, then turn down the piano part by adjusting the balance on your stereo and it's like you have your own pro combo in your living room. Have fun!

Male audition speeches for play with music set in 1920s.?
Hi. I am looking for audition pieces for a play with music that is set in the 1920s. The play has been written especially and details are vague but it deals with serious issues in a cheesy way. (Almost too cheesy to be a black comedy!) If anybody has any MALE audition speeches please please please let me know!!! Stuff like poems from 1920 would be good.

Learn And Master The Guitar | Is It Worth It?
The guitar, has made itself known worldwide, as the symbol of rock and roll. Everyone associates a rock guitar, with rock and roll. Increasingly popular, this instrument is now the new definition of cool for many millions of youngsters. Someone who is able to play this instrument is perceived to be of a cool nature. Come on, who doesn't appreciate someone who can play the guitar well?
Lots of people find it very difficult to learn and master the guitar though. Most people I have come across think that there is some sort of special skill needed or that the person must be naturally musically inclined. This is definitely not the case. The instrument is not difficult to learn at all. If you want to master the guitar, all it takes is some proper instruction and a little bit of time.
Anyone can learn or master the guitar with a little bit of work. You do not have to be Jimi Hendrix, nor Andres Segovia. In fact, most kids learn a great deal of guitar skill, within their first year of playing. If you are persistent in your practice, you may very well be playing popular songs within a couple of months.
Your best bet for learning the guitar would be to start with lessons. They can be lessons of your choosing. You may decide that you want to take online lessons, or perhaps you may wish to see a local instructor instead. I would suggest a combination of the two. Online lessons, or a DVD set are a fantastic way to learn at your own leisure. By combining this with a personal trainer, you are well on your way to playing the guitar at a decent level.
When you get a little bit of practice under your belt, you can begin to learn a popular technique called guitar tapping. This was made famous by Van Halen. It is nothing more than using your fingers in a hammer fashion on the strings. This can be combined with strumming to give an overall good effect.
If you want to know a little bit more about this technique, there are plenty of books about it, as well as internet sites. Steven Krenz's program, is a great place to start for newcomers and experienced players alike. Guitar tapping, strumming, or perfecting chord arrangements are all things which each and every player can work on.
No matter what kind of music you are into, playing the guitar can be a very rewarding experience for anyone. The gift of musical talent is something that can be learned by just about anyone willing to sit down and give it some time. There are so many thousands of songs that you can learn as well. The sky is truly the limit when it comes to song selection. If you are involved with jazz music, there is plenty in that area, as well as rock. Remember, that practice makes perfection.

Farmer Live Sweet
Farmer Live Sweet

A few hundred years ago, the Przewalski horse ran wild in Mongolia. Although these horses were native to their Mongolian home range, it is thought they roamed throughout Europe and most of Asia. This is evident from the cave paintings that have been discovered and studied in France and Spain.
The Przewalski horse only exists now in Zoos and private reserves. A little over one hundred years ago, Colonel Nikolai Przewalski under orders of the Czar, made several voyages into Mongolia and discovered the remnants of this horse. The horse was named after him as he was credited with the discovery.
The Prezewalski horse is a short and very stout horse. They generally stand approximately 12 to 14 hands tall. (A hand is a measurement used to determine the height of the horse. It is the measurement from the ground to the top of the withers. The withers is the high point on the horses' vertebrae between the neck and the back where the shoulders meet.) They are a "Dun" color which is a beige to brown in color and they have a black stripe running down their back.
The horses are now considered extinct in the wild due to their being over hunted. At the time of Colonel Nikolai Przewalski's discovery, these horses were already in danger of becoming extinct. There is a push to re-establish the breed into their natural habitats. Through a cooperative effort between the Zoos and private foundations, these plans are moving forward. A lot of scientific research has been necessary for such purposes as increasing the fertility rates and decreasing the foals' mortality rates. Plans for reintroduction of the breed into its natural habitat are also compromised by the difficulties in locating suitable lands that haven't been over grazed or populated by livestock. The natural habitat for the Prezewalski horse is grassland region. After the Ice age, most of Europe and Asia was suitable for rangeland for this breed. As time elapsed, much of the grassland gave way to forests and increase in human population further pushed the breed into decline. Fourteen years ago, the reintroduction into the grassland region of Mongolia began. Over time, there has been several small herds being introduced back into their native environments with an adjustment period so they can get use to their new home. An area in Mongolia that has been found to be suitable for them is being turned into a National Park to preserve the region and the natural fauna and flora for them.
The struggle of this breed can be representative of the struggle between animal and man for existence. The Prezewalski horse roamed these lands for twenty thousand years. As man's way of living evolved, these horses began to interfere with the early farmers. As evident from the cave paintings, these horses were hunted for food. As man began farming, competition between man and the Prezewalski horse increased over crops or interference with domesticated animals. In the last half of the 20th century, evidence of the existence of wild herds could no longer be found although expeditions were sent out specifically to find them. As the 20th century closes and we enter the 21st century, their is a new emergence to preserve and restore our natural habitats including the animals that live within them. With this new emergence, is the reintroductions of these magnificent animals to their native homes and the scientific studies to make this happen.

Do you like my new country song?
ARTIST: JON MALCOM
TITLE: COUNTRY MAN
I was born the son of a poor man
Hard life got strong arms and a farmers tan
Work that field at the start of the day
In the afternoon I bail that hay
And every night I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep
And in the morning I'll do it all over again
Because I'm a country man
Oh yeah I'm a country man
Oh yeah I'm a country man
Drive that tractor in the hot sun
Turn right to make another run
Plow that field, bail some hay
I need a cash crop in that's what I pray
She brings me some sweet tea
I like it when makes it fresh for me
It's nice to live in the country
Cause I'm a country man
Oh yeah cause I'm a country man
I'm a country man...
Later I'll go fish off the creek
No Internet and no TV
All I need...
Her and the country
Oh yeah cause I'm a country man
I'm a country man
Yeah man thats a pretty sweet song

Around Christmas Tree
Around Christmas Tree

Christmas Trees – the Main Feature of Christmas Holiday Decorations
Every year, our senses are bombarded with the wonderful sights and sounds of the Christmas holiday season. For many people, the Christmas tree majestically standing in a well chosen spot and decorated with loving care is the main feature of the Christmas holiday decorations.
Christmas trees are not only the main focus of homes that have been decorated for the holidays, they can also be found in many public places such as offices, malls, and squares. These trees make the holidays feel much more festive. To most people Christmas doesn't really begin until after the traditional lighting of the town's official tree; thus starting a month-long string of holiday events.
Interestingly, the history of the Christmas tree can actually be traced back to when prehistoric pagan practices became Christianized. In the pagan belief, the evergreen tree, which is what is used for the vast majority of Christmas trees, was used to symbolize the renewal of life.
Many different folk tales describe the origins of the Christmas tree as we know it today. Germanic tribes held the belief that Patron trees were sacred, and medieval myths referred to the miracle of evergreen trees "flowering" during the Christmas season. The shape of an evergreen has also been linked with the holy trinity of Christian belief, which is symbolized by a triangle.
The origin of the much-loved traditional Christmas tree is accredited to the Germans, as they are thought to be the first people to bring live evergreens into the home to decorate. This was long before electricity was first used. Looking back, it's hard to imagine anyone placing lit candles on a very flammable Christmas tree, but that was the tradition. The tips of the tree's branches would support tiny candle holders, complete with actual candles that were attached very carefully.
For the last century or so, a wide variety of festive lights have taken the place of the candles that used to be placed on the tree. Some families enjoy choosing Christmas tree lighting that adds technological flair to the holidays - chasing, changing, and flashing lights run by tiny computer chips. Others select lighting reminiscent of their own childhood Christmases.
A family's ornaments are a visual record of the memories of past holidays. Children especially attach emotional importance to the Christmas ornaments. While the traditional decorating scheme of holiday ornaments is most commonly used, many people choose to forego tradition by creating theme trees, such as a beach tree covered in seashells.
The purchase of a single special ornament for each individual child every Christmas is what some families cherish. This way the children will have their own collection of favorite ornaments to use as the basis of their Christmas tree decorations when they get older.
The family Christmas tree will most likely continue to be the main focus of family traditions and one of the primary symbols of Christmastime, bringing with it a perpetuation of giving, awe, good will towards men and the creation of new memories to be treasured for a lifetime.

Where can I find a gate that goes around the christmas tree?
Go to ToysRus and purchase a kiddie gate. It is somewhat circular and the christmas tree will fit in the middle.
