Effective Music Teachers Resources And Tips: Students’ Feedback
Primarily, a music teacher’s task lies in the idea of effective and creative communication. Thus, credibility and reliability have always been an issue to academic institutions, their teaching and non-teaching personnel and even the student body.
Music teachers simultaneously motivate, inspire, and support their students through innovative music teachers resources. Whether these resources and tips are from the experiences of other teaching individuals, educators, academes or from the internet, what important is you are able to meet your goals and stay committed to your purpose.
When you make use of effective music teachers resources and tips, you are more likely to gain the interests of your students – encouraging them to love music more. As you become good influences and examples to them, they not just tend to love music as one of their subjects but they also have come to love you as their mentors and icons.
I have here a list of different feedbacks, compliments and even suggestions of the students when a group of music educators have rendered effective music teaching strategies and have executed creative activities.
• The students are able to cultivate their interest in music and realize their potentials through unique and creative activities regarding their music class and its programs.
• Such music teachers resources allow them to learn about other aspects of music which are not covered in a specific course outline, syllabus or private music lessons.
• Music teachers are able to encourage and give them such opportunity and exposure that they truly need to create and perform music creatively and independently yet effectively and promptly.
• Students are able to learn music as well as the significance of academic freedom and independence. Thus, cooperative learning has played a vital role in this manner since they are tasked to work collaboratively with their co-students and meet a common set of objectives.
• Creative activities, which seem unusual and innovative, have brought up fun and excitement among students – making them more interested, hooked and eager to learn new things and eventually apply them in real life.
• The enhanced program for music teaching has been remarked by the students as a way to boost self-confidence, establish camaraderie among classmates, and experience the fun of learning music – all at the same time.
• Such exposure to music technology and other relevant innovations have showcased more talents and have brought out the best in most of the students.
It really pays to regenerate more teaching resources and strategies that are more appealing to the kind of students we have in today’s generation. Maximizing resources and efforts, music teachers would then realize that music education could be the most rewarding experience.

Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix

Being left handed doesn't just mean you hold you pen funny, or that the scissors are upside down, it comes into every area of your life. When it comes to learning a musical instrument, especially a stringed instrument like the guitar or violin, there are problems come up all over the place with chord conversion, or getting the guitar to sound the same as a right hander when it's upsidedown. Jimi Hendrix is a model lefty guitarist; he was showing up people with an upside down, with reverse strung guitar, while he was drunk or on drugs! Ok, maybe the drugs and drinking aren't such a good example, but he defiantly had the idea.
Unlike the 60s' however now-a-days there are guitars made for lefties, left handed scale generators, left hand chord progression and even tabs written for lefties. So anyone, even lefties, can bring rock to the next level. But do left handers have an easier time learning guitar than right handers?
Learning to play guitar is a painstakingly simple task no matter what hand you play with. The simplicity of the instrument fools the common person into thinking the instrument's simple to master. Although left handers are known for their above average statistics in money and intelligence, Lefties still have as much trouble learning an instrument as a righty. Some musicians, despit there left-handedness, find it easier to play the instrument with their right hand Robert Fripp from King Crimson, Noel Gallagher from Oasis.
So what does it take to learn to play guitar for a left hander? The same dedication and passion for music as a right hander, although you may see up-coming Paul McCartney's and Kurt Cobain's and Jimi Hendrix's playing an upside down, reversed strung guitar in their room while everyone around them is yelling at them to shut up. It's all about practise practise practise, and learning from as many people as you can. There are courses and teachers like Music master Pro, But regardless of your teacher, if your passion drives you, we'll see the next Jimi Hendrix in no time.
Tony Schirmer is a passionate guitarist and music lover. He started and currently runs a large range fo websites varying from Comptuer hardware to a guitarist facebook group.
May be just an odd question but it deals with Jimi Hendrix?
Ohk Im trying to compose a Jimi hendrix costume and i want to know a site or place i can find some stuff of his like the weired clotes the headband with the long cloth in the back and just clothes like his can anyone please help me?
I'd google some of his albumn titles which always have him dressed in his wild way. I loooooove Jimi!
You gotta have a fro, a headband, colorful clothes, play the guitar with your teeth (and play behind your back), I won't go into what else you would need to do, but to dress like him, yeah, I'd check out some of his old albumn covers.

Whenever I'm interviewing an experienced guitarist with the view of teaching them I first run a series of tests to see exactly where the perspective student is 'at'.
Just because someone has done something for a long time does not automatically qualify them as being any good at it; it only means that they have been 'doing' something for a long time... nothing else, over the years their guitar playing skills may have actually deteriorated or at best they may be simply going around in circles picking up a hot lick here and random chord there.
As I'm speaking to the perspective student I suddenly pick up the guitar and turn away from the guitarist so they cannot see the fretboard of the guitar, I play a familiar chord, one that they would have heard many times in the playing career and I ask them what chord am I playing... to their surprise most of the time they cannot answer correctly.
Remember, I'm not playing E7#9, Bb13b9 or some more obscure chord that only jazz players would recognize, I'm talking about E, D and A7... garden variety chords that almost every guitarist plays daily. Of course this tells me immediately how developed the guitar player's ear is.
Why can't they pick simple chord sounds? The answer is simple... to develop your musical ear you must may a conscious effort to remember the sounds you are playing.
Jot that down... it's important "to develop your musical ear you must make a CONSCIOUS effort to remember the sounds you are playing or hearing."
Surely we down need to practice hearing, unless we a born deaf we can all hear very well can't we? I agree unless a person is deaf we all can hear, the distinction we need to make is between 'hearing' and listening.
Hearing is being aware of sounds in your environment such as a truck or bus driving past in the street... you are aware of the sound but you are not really listening intently to what type of motor it is, it's just a bus going past. It's important for your survival to be able to identify sounds but we don't really get past the initial identification of that's a 'lawn mower, phone, or bus' type signal.
Listening on the other hand for the musician has many different levels.
The reason why or 'experienced' guitar playing friend cannot correctly identify a familiar chord is because he or she did not make a conscious effort to register the chord in their memory; quite possibly they have playing this particular chord hundreds of times in their guitar playing experience but they have been busy looking a the chord symbol on the paper and not paying attention to the sound of the chord.
How To Improve Your Musical Ear:
A great way to improve your ear is to record a chord; just one single strum and let the chord fade away, as the chord fades you will notice yourself listening more intently... this is good.
Start with just this one chord, try a use a chord you think you are familiar with, give this chord an musical ID e.g., chord number 1 then say the musical ID out loud so it will be recorded before you play the chord; next strum the chord and let the chord fade away, write the chord name down in a notebook with it's musical ID next to it so you can check your answer later on.
Like this;
ID 1 = E
ID 2 = A
ID 3 = B7
Obviously it's going to be easy for a start because you will only have one chord as you get used to the sound of the chord add another chord to your collection; don't forget to give each chord their unique ID code.
Important: Knowing a chord shape and it's physical fingering is only the start, you must also know how each chord sounds, only then can you use it, only then do you own it!.
Your eyes can 'hear' consequently staring at a chord book or Guitar TAB won't improve your ear, get the chord off the page and into your head, and while we're talking about getting things into your head keep in mind that when someone refers to having an 'ear' for music what they really are referring to is someone who has a good MEMORY for sound!
That's it... your ear simply sits on the side of your head and picks up signals, it's your well trained musical memory that allows you to instantly recall a sound you are hearing and play that sound correctly on your guitar.
And now I'd like to invite you to get free access to my "How To Remember 1,000 Songs" eCourse. You can download the course for free at: http://www.guitarcoaching.com
You'll learn about hit song templates, easy chords, simple scales, red hot rhythms, and successful practice strategies in text, audio and video.

Many of us might not know it, but country music is fast becoming a formidable force in the world of commercial music. The likes of Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, and the most recent, Taylor Swift, have taken the music industry by storm and have styles that remain 'in the now' even after decades have passed. If you're not a fan of bouncy pop music or don't really appreciate the loudness of rock or metal, why not develop an appreciation for the country sound by getting some country guitar lessons?
The Basics
Country sound is a lot easier to digest because it has a calmer, more soothing vibe. In addition, a country guitar lesson doesn't require you to plug into electricity to get yourself going. For most part, country music is accompanied by an acoustic guitar -- and, for many, this is both nice to the ears and the budget.
Easy guitar lessons can be obtained online or by going through guitar lessons DVD courses. Either way, country guitar lessons are a dream to have -- your parents and neighbors will also love you for it.
Learning how to strum country music on your acoustic guitar is similar to simply learning how to play this instrument. Of course, executing it successfully is dependent on how much you feel it, as the heart of country sound rests a lot on feeling and emotion. It wouldn't do you any good, or your listeners, to play country music that has no emotion to it, at all.
Practice
Whether you want country guitar lessons in preparation for a career or do it just as a hobby, it's not likely you'll get anything with your guitar if you don't practice to mastery. Listen to the songs you want to play, feel them, and do this everyday. Study the styles of your favorite artists and try to emulate them; better yet, try to develop your own style from what you've learned from them.
Don't stop practicing until you feel like you've finally made the song your own. Remember, country music is all about heart -- without it, the sound wouldn't mean anything, at all. You will find a lot of resources on easy guitar lessons online, as well as tips and advice on creating new styles with the guitar. Find your niche and practice. If you find that country guitar lessons are what you need, then, by all means, develop the love and start playing.
Country guitar lessons [http://countryguitarlessons.net/country-guitar-lessons-easy-guitar-lessons-for-newbies/] are a must for anybody with a thorough appreciation for music. Easy guitar lessons and guitar lessons DVD [http://countryguitarlessons.net/country-guitar-lessons-%E2%80%93-guitar-lessons-dvds/] courses can be found online for you to start with.

What is a good website for learning about guitar music theory?
I guess I don't understand scales, how anyone writes their own songs, etc.
I like this website for theory:
http://www.emusictheory.com/learning.html
Also do searches on specfic terms such as: Modes, Scales, Keys, Progressions, Time Signatures, etc.
Theory is something that will take you time and practice to understand and grasp, until you can use it efficiently.
Learning scales will only help you, if you know what a scale really is. A scale is just a map of all the notes in a certain key. A standard major or minor key will contain 7 notes. The scale of that major or minor key maps out where all those 7 notes are for the guitar or any other instrument.
