Jazz--A musical art form was originated in the African American communities in early 20th century. It is one of the most tantalizing and distinguished forms of music and has a unique American flair to it. It embraces all other forms like rock, hip-hop. But the irony is it has now become less popular than the latter ones. The big band- also known as the jazz band, jazz ensemble, dance band, stage orchestra is an ensemble associated with playing the Jazz music. The typical instruments used are Saxophone, Clarinet, Piano, Guitar etc.
Jazz is one of the most significant contributions to the music world. Still there are many people who value its worth and love listening to it. No matter how old it grows, this is something which is agile and will always persist in the hearts of its admirers. It may not be as mesmerizing and scintillating as hearing them live in person but close your eyes, flow with the music and imagine yourself with your favorite artists at a concert. That is the best way to enjoy it and pretty reasonable too.

easy jazz piano?
I'm trying to learn jazz by ear but I'm finding it really difficult. I am awesome at transcribing the melody or solo lines. But whe it comes to the bass or chords I really struggle to pick any notes at all. What are some good piano based jazz albums which might be a little easier for me to transcribe by ear?
A number of "play along" recordings (see below) are available that are a lot of fun and are great way to learn easy jazz songs. You can listen and emulate the piano part, then turn down the piano part by adjusting the balance on your stereo and it's like you have your own pro combo in your living room. Have fun!

Another category falls under self-study materials. The Internet is overflowing with these self-learning guides, which range from informative e-books to easy-to-follow audio files. Many of these do-it-yourself singing lessons are downloadable for a price but there are those that are accessible for free. Similar materials may also be available at your local bookstores.
Self-study singing exercises have the advantage of flexibility in terms of the time spent to do them. However, they sorely lack in the guidance of an experienced teacher who can correct your mistakes and provide the discipline for developing your singing voice.

Can you name me some musicians similar style/era to Beethoven and Mozart please?
I have just been checking some guitar tabs i have of Beethoven and Mozat that came with guitar pro and they are amazing but realy hard to play hehe.
The difficulty you have with guitar tabs for Beethoven and Mozart can be simply explained. They did not write for guitar!
Guitars cannot play chords that are written for piano or orchestra. Orchestral chords and piano chords require the notes to be struck simultaneously, whereas a guitar cannot do this - the best one can do is to strum.
I take off my metaphorical hat to you in attempting to play Beethoven, and in recognising that the chords are difficult.
It is difficult for people brought up on a musical diet of Rock to see any other instrument that the guitar, but the tablature (music-writing) for the guitar is special to this instrument, and does not reflect the tablature for the Classical orchestra and its instruments.
Go to a music shop, and buy a primer on Harmony and Counterpoint. These will not help you with guitar tablature, but they will show you how music is written. Guitar tabs are derived from orthodox tablature, and you need to understand the rudiments of scale, key, rhythm and instrumentation before you can get a grip on the music of Mozart and Beethoven.
You could look at Salieri, Ditters Van Dittersdorf and Louis Spohr as contemporaries of Mozart, but the tabs wont work with these composers, either. Or look at the Lute music of Byrd or Dowland. Sting has recently done some work with this medium - worthy of investigation.
I'd say you've got musical balls. Use them.

i have done so, but i am known to do such to young & old, married & single, in the Congregation for many, many years.
surely these 'friends' of yours know of the dangers of arousing one's emotions that could lead to compromise-? both should be careful not to do such if the other is interested in more than affectionate, friendly kissing as Greetings if the other is NOT interested in a romantic relationship; if both are wanting more, then they should make very responsible decisions & get chaperones, if of dating age; i didn't date until AFTER my 18th birthday.
Best Friends can make the best marriages; simply playing with the passions of youth without maturity or honored intentions is just plain stupid, dangerous, & unwise. (been there, done that)
so, Can they kiss for a friendly 'Hello'? - sure. just may not be the best idea RIGHT NOW - unless they are adults, looking to date seriously with the intention of marriage. and JW's do not want to 'give any reason for stumbling others' or misrepresent JEHOVAH or His Congregation with what could be interpreted as 'loose conduct'. if you are a JW, then you know exactly what i mean. be VERY careful & pray to the Father about it, and seek out an older, spiritually mature JW for direction & loving support.

Traveling to Rome and need advice on touring the Vatican City? Here a few tips on how to avoid the notoriously long lines at the Vatican Museums.
More than 4million people visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel every year, and if you have not planned ahead then three-hour waits are not uncommon. But do not worry as it is possible to avoid the massive line.
My advice is to book your Vatican Museums ticket online through the Vatican's website the admission price is 14Euros plus a 4Euro booking fee, about $25 total per person.
By pre-booking this ticket you can bypass the long lines to enter the Museums. These special Vatican tickets include the standard ticket price plus fast-track access fee.
Please note that all visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 10-20 minutes to clear security.
My second suggestion is that whatever time of year you visit you choose to visit the Vatican Museums, you should try to avoid the mornings except on Wednesday when the Pope held the Papal Audience in St. Peter's Square leaving the Vatican Museums much less crowded. On the other hand due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to St. Peter's Basilica could be closed, there is the possibility that you will be unable to include St. Peter's Basilica and St. Peter's Square.
If you dislike the crowd my last advice is to pay extra for a private guided Vatican tour but choose carefully because tour prices vary widely.
The Vatican also offers two-hour guided tours for $42 per person, including admission fee, but they can be crowded, with as many as 50 people per group. For a more intimate visit, book with a well- established private tour company. There are a lot of tour operators in Rome, so look around for the best deal.

Carolina Town: The Way To Choose And Relocate To Your Own Best Place
It appears that every occasion I’m at the magazine rack I find a new list of the “Best Places for Paper Airplane Lovers” or the “Top Ten Towns for Boomers,” or the “Ten Most Affordable Retirement Places.” You get the idea. Whatever the list may be, though, the places always seem to be the same, and till now I can’t figure out how they are picked.
What makes these Carolina towns the finest? No one queried me even once, “What’s important to me in considering a town for my Perfect Place?” The suitable question is: ”What is required to see that a Carolina town is your own ideal place?” When I commenced checking on towns in North and South Carolina, for relocating my family, I realized, after I went through every one of the “Best Places” lists, I even then was not aware what “Best Place” represented for me. So, I compiled a listing of the crucial queries to ask when assessing a new location. Through it, I was able to cut through all the media gloss and hype enveloping the true details.

- Growth Rate: How quickly is the area growing, and is there infrastructure available for development? Will your sleepy hollow turn into a bustling thoroughfare? In what way will the expansion influence your daily commute and shopping?
- Airports: Based on the extent of your flying this could be an important question. There are numerous minor airports right through South and North Carolina, a number of which have connecting flights to major airports. Most of our towns are within 60 minutes of a major airport.
- Housing Costs: Average housing costs fluctuate greatly throughout the Carolinas. Picking one town in preference to a second, even less than a few miles of each other could make a large difference.
